Teams are going head-to-head, each preparing their best chili to compete for the coveted title of Best Chili. Stop by to sample all the delicious chilis and vote for your favorite! The winning team will get the honour of choosing a charity to donate the proceeds to, so your chili indulgence will support a great cause! Edwards Case Competition
Hosted by the Edwards Business Students' Society, the annual Edwards Case Competition (ECC) is our biggest professional development event in the year. It is the perfect opportunity to showcase your knowledge to industry experts and extend your professional network. Here, you get to apply the knowledge you have acquired in the classroom into solving real-world business problems. This year, our cases are carefully selected and reviewed to ensure that participants have the most fun and rewarding experience. Whether you are a novice or experienced "case-cracker", ECC 2023 has something for everyone!

Students are welcome to participate individually or as a team of up to three (3) students:
If you have already formed a team, only one member of the team need to register on the team's behalf
If you wish to participate as a team but cannot find any teammates, we can match you with other students to form a team! In this case, please indicate accordingly in your answers below.
ECC 2023 participants can compete in one of two categories:
Novice: With an easier and shorter case, this entry-level category is the perfect introduction to case cracking, ideal for those with little to no experience with case competitions.
Experienced: This category is tailored for those who are already familiar with case cracking. Here, you have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills, expertise and knowledge.

JDC x EBSS Presents: Case Cracking Workshop
With this workshop, you will receive detailed information on effective presenting and presentation creation techniques from an expert source. This workshop is a great learning opportunity for new case competition participants, as it provides information on what to expect in this new environment and increase comfortability with speaking skills. By participating, you are sure to stand out from the other competitors. There will also be snacks!

Edwards Formal
The annual Edwards Business Formal on October 5th is an established event that brings Edwards students and faculty together with Saskatchewan’s business leaders for a unique evening of networking and learning. The event includes a cocktail hour, three-course meal, and a dynamic keynote speaker, ending with a late-night social.

ACE Presents: Firm Tour
The ACE Firm Tour is your opportunity to see what accounting firms are like first-hand. The Firm Tour will give you the opportunity to meet new people, get a tour of 3-5 different accounting firms in the city, and network in a casual setting afterwards. Standing for Little Buddy Big Buddy Barbecue, this event originated as a barbecue hosted by senior students to welcome freshmen to the university over 30 years ago.
